Honoring the outstanding work of Oklahoma nonprofits statewide, the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits will present the Oklahoma Nonprofit Excellence (ONE) Awards, a gala April 25, 2009, at the Renaissance Hotel in Tulsa.
Statewide nonprofits will be honored in categories that include: the arts, community, health services, education, self-sufficiency, seniors, and youth to name a few. Nonprofits that have proven excellence in their field will receive a monetary award and much deserved recognition. The top nonprofit in each category will receive $7,500 while two other nonprofits in each category will receive $5,000. An award of $10,000 will be given to the overall winner.
The finalists will be selected by the ONE Awards Selection Commission chaired by Mr. J. Jerry Dickman, Chapman Foundations Management, LLC, Tulsa.
